CHRISTIAN CENTER
and COMMUNITY FARM
Sowing into the Lord's work
The goal of Bajo Sus Alas community farm is to become self-sustaining, At present about 75% of day-to-day operating costs (animal feed, one employee, gasoline and outside services such as tractoring) are supported by our own personal funds, with the remainder supplied by the sale of what we produce: eggs, produce, animals, carpentry projects, etc. Bartering with neighbors is also a great resource!
Ideally, the recipients of our farm’s help would exchange a couple of hours of service for what they receive, both to learn skills that could help their household economy, and to promote dignity.
Donations from the faith community are usually earmarked for growth or special projects,
such as winter outreach with food and blankets, purchase of needed equipment, etc.

There are many ways to partner with Bajo Sus Alas
Monetary:
Donations through PayPal or sent to our U.S. non-profit corporation address can be applied wherever the need exists (or to a special area you request).

Gifts in kind:
Blankets, clothing (especially warm winter clothing and for kids) and non-perishable food are always in demand. Farm equipment, vehicles, seeds, and building materials are other welcome options This type of gift does have geographical limitations, as transportation is costly and time consuming. If you wish to partner in this way, contact us to see if we can coordinate.
Mission trips:
Hands-on help is satisfying, educational, and great fun!
Typical areas for help are construction, planting or harvest, or ministry such as kids’ or youth vacation Bible camp. Because these activities are seasonal or need-related, we need to coordinate beforehand to arrange dates, accommodations, transportation, etc. But the experience can be life-changing!
Your help is multiplied in the hands of God, so even a little goes a long way!
